CBS: Dream City breaks ground on new business hub in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, Iowa — An eastern Iowa non-profit is breaking ground on a new business hub.
Dream City leaders are renovating their facility in the 600 block of Southgate Ave. The $3 million project calls for several additions to that building, including:
  • Micro business spaces
  • Classroom areas
  • Commercial-sized kitchen
Organizers say the goal of the project is to help aspiring entrepreneurs grow their businesses and spur innovation.
Iowa's News Now spoke with Frederick Newell, the Executive Director of Dream City, Friday to talk about the business hub project.
